Enable TOTP

How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication (TOTP) in AIO Dashboard#

Ensuring the security of your AIO account is essential. Two-Factor Authentication (TOTP) adds an additional layer of protection by requiring a second form of verification. Here’s how you can enable TOTP on your AIO dashboard:

Step-by-Step Guide to Enable TOTP#

Step 1: Access Personal Settings#

Navigate to the AIO dashboard.
Go to Settings -> Personal Settings from the left sidebar menu to find the security options.

Step 2: Enable TOTP#

Locate the "2-FA Authentication" section within the settings.
Click "Enable" next to the TOTP option to start the setup process.

Step 3: Scan QR Code#

Open your authenticator app on your mobile device. If you don't have an authenticator app installed, download one like Google Authenticator from the Google Play Store or Apple's App Store.
Use the app to scan the QR code displayed on the AIO screen. This will link your AIO account with the authenticator app.

Step 4: Verify Setup#

After scanning the QR code, the authenticator app will display a 6-digit code.
Enter this code into the designated field on the AIO website under the barcode to finalize enabling TOTP.

Confirming TOTP Activation#

Once enabled, TOTP will be required for various sensitive operations within your AIO account, such as managing API keys, updating webhook settings, and modifying personal settings. This ensures that only you can access these features, securing your account against unauthorized access.

Video Tutorial: Enabling TOTP on AIO Dashboard#

For a visual and detailed guide on enabling TOTP, watch the instructional video below. The video will take you through each step at an increased speed for quick understanding.

By following these steps, TOTP will be successfully enabled on your AIO account, significantly enhancing your account's security. This guide is designed to help you navigate the setup process smoothly and securely.

Actions Requiring TOTP Verification in AIO Dashboard#

When Two-Factor Authentication (TOTP) is enabled on your AIO account, you are required to provide a valid TOTP for additional security verification before performing specific actions. Below is a detailed guide on where and how TOTP is used within the AIO dashboard:

API Key Page:#

For actions related to API keys, you will need to verify with TOTP for:
1.
Copying API Key: To ensure security, copying an API key will require TOTP verification.
2.
Enabling, Disabling, or Editing IP Allowlist for API Key: Changes to the IP allowlist settings for an API key will also require TOTP verification.
3.
Copying AES Key: Secure copying of AES keys necessitates TOTP verification.
4.
Enabling or Disabling AES Key: When enabling or disabling AES keys, TOTP verification is required to proceed.

Webhook Page:#

Manage your webhooks securely by verifying with TOTP for:
1.
Editing/Updating Webhook URL: Any changes to the webhook URL must be verified with TOTP.
2.
Copying Auth Key: When copying the authorization key for webhooks, TOTP verification is required.
3.
Resetting Auth Key: Resetting the authorization key also requires TOTP verification.

IP Allowlist Page:#

For managing IP access on the AIO dashboard, TOTP verification is required for:
1.
Enabling/Disabling IP Allowlist for AIO Dashboard Access: Changes to the IP allowlist settings need TOTP verification.
2.
Adding a new IP address to the whitelist: When IP Allowlisting is enabled, adding new IP addresses requires TOTP verification.
3.
Deleting an existing whitelisted IP address: To remove an IP from the whitelist, TOTP must be verified.
4.
Enabling/Disabling an existing whitelisted IP address: Making changes to the status of an existing IP on the whitelist needs TOTP verification.

Auto Collection Configuration Page:#

Configure auto collection settings securely with TOTP for:
1.
Updating the number of batch collection transactions: Modifying the number of transactions that trigger batch collection requires TOTP verification.
2.
Updating "Automatic Enforce Amount Limits": Changes to the minimum balance required in a subaddress for collection also require TOTP verification.

Auto Withdraw Configuration Page:#

For managing auto withdrawal settings, ensure security with TOTP for:
1.
Updating the number of batch withdrawal transactions: Adjusting the batch size for withdrawals necessitates TOTP verification.
2.
Updating "Automatic Enforce Amount Limits": Modifying the minimum balance required for a withdrawal request requires TOTP verification.

Personal Settings Page:#

For personal account settings, TOTP is required for:
1.
Changing email: Changing your registered email address prompts for TOTP verification if enabled.
2.
Changing password: Similarly, changing your password will also require TOTP verification.

Conclusion:#

Implementing TOTP for these critical actions enhances the security of your AIO dashboard, ensuring that sensitive operations are protected against unauthorized access. Always have your authenticator app ready to verify your identity as you manage your settings and sensitive information within the AIO system.
